Kathleen sketching in her studio

Kathleen is an artist, poet, and jewelry designer who specializes in creating highly personalized fine jewelry that tells your special story through the magic of metals and gemstones. If you appreciate jewelry creation as a ‘journey’ (I have a vision that I want to express), rather than a ‘destination’ (I must buy a ring at the mall), you’ll love the individualized attention, creative options, gem knowledge, and handmade artistry that working with Kathleen brings.

Kathleen really ‘dug deep’ into gemstones, studying and identifying over 1,000 colored stones and grading diamonds, to achieve the esteemed Graduate Gemologist (G.G.) certification at the Gemological Institute of America (GIA).  She loves buying just the right gems for your personal taste. Equally fun is demystifying those inherited green, red, colorless, and yellow stones you’ve always wondered about.

Her passion for jewelry and gems–and understanding your inner motivation– translates into designing a new piece as well as updating your estate or antique jewelry. To bring it all to life, Kathleen collaborates closely with Jasper Kegge, an expert Dutch goldsmith trained in the Netherlands, whose artisanship infuses your custom and one-of-a-kind pieces.

Whether you’re a scientist, equestrian, gear head, nature or animal lover, or purely “in love,” your story is waiting to be told in a beautiful, rare, and enduring way.

Kathleen cares about education that unleashes human potential, human rights, and mental health as essential to total health and wellness; she is First Vice President of the board of Daemion Counseling Center, Berwyn, Pennsylvania; formerly Vice President of the board of New Century Trust, Philadelphia, and a volunteer for Summer Search Philadelphia.
